Dr. Cheeley was born and raised in the suburbs of Atlanta. He is a product of the Georgia Public School System, matriculating in to the University of Georgia Honors Program where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Suma Cum Laude (4.0 GPA). He received a scholarship to attend the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia where he received his doctorate of medicine in 2010. Dr. Cheeley completed Internal Medicine residency at Emory, followed by a Chief Resident year, before completing a dermatology residency at Emory in 2017. He is the only dermatology hospitalist in the state of Georgia, specializing in the inpatient and outpatient care of complex medical patients who suffer from dermatologic diseases. In addition to the practice of dermatology, Dr. Cheeley continues to practice Internal Medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital.
